Dream Wedding in the Smoky Mountains

View More Photos

Katie and Seth married in the heart of the Smoky Mountains at The Magnolia Venue in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee to honor their love for adventure. To begin the destination wedding day, Katie got ready in the onsite bridal suite with her bridesmaids while enjoying mimosas and capturing candid photos. Seth started the day getting ready at the cabin of the couple’s stay nearby. Katie chose an off the shoulder, classic white gown with a dramatic veil. Her hair was styled in a low bun and she selected lace white slip on shoes to complete her look. She carried a lush, hand tied bouquet featuring silver dollar eucalyptus,  burgundy astilbe, and white ranunculus. Her bridesmaids carried similar bouquets in a smaller form. Each bridesmaid wore a burgundy full length gown in the style of their choice. Seth wore a navy tux with a boutonniere to match Katie’s bouquet. His groomsmen wore matching navy suits and burgundy ties. After Katie completed hair and makeup, Seth arrived onsite for their first look.

While the soon to be married couple enjoyed their first look with their photographers from JoPhoto, final details were placed on the ceremony and reception site. A custom wooden sign with a floral feature greeted each guest, marking the day of the wedding. Simplistic white ceremony chairs covered the outdoor patio for the ceremony and were adorned with florals that matched the color palette of the day. In place of an arbor, the couple selected a garland of florals to tie onto the railing of the ceremony site in order to highlight the Smoky Mountain view.

After the couple married with a heartfelt ceremony, the reception began after a brief cocktail hour for extra photography. For their welcome table, Katie and Seth featured an adventure theme with photos of their past memories and fans for guests to enjoy as favors. Each guest table was covered with a navy linen, pillar candles, and delicate florals with place settings including another guest favor of mini honey jars made by Custom Love Gifts, Events & Prints. The pair cut their three tiered textured cake after enjoying dinner with their loved ones. They enjoyed the rest of the evening by capturing more photos and dancing. At the end of the night, the couple exited with style during a sparkler send-off.
