Southern Fall Wedding

Casey and Mitch share a story 15 years in the making! They first met at a rodeo but did not stay in contact. The pair reconnected a decade later and they say ‘the rest is history’! When the couple began wedding planning, they knew they wanted to stay true to their personalities while still hosting a beautiful event. As a true, southern couple they opted for a November wedding with a rustic cowboy theme. To best match their preferences, Casey and Mitch kept their design simplistic while splurging on good food and a DJ to play country music until the end of the event. They knew they wanted to focus on having fun!

Since Casey normally prefers jeans to dresses, she took the opportunity to dress in full glam on her wedding day. She wore a strapless full length gown paired with a dramatic veil. Mitch kept it casual with jeans and a nice button down shirt in a deep red color, completing the look with his signature cowboy hat. Burgundy, green, and pops of navy created the stunning fall color palette for the day. Personalized details such as a horseshoe wedding cake topper could be seen throughout the event. In place of a groom’s cake, Mitch opted for an assortment of pies. The couple married in an outdoor ceremony underneath a wood arbor and their reception took place inside a barn reception hall.

After cutting their naked, caramel drizzled cake and capturing photos, the couple danced the night away with their guests. Since the venue was an outdoor barn site, there was no shortage of photography locations. Guests could also explore the property while the newlyweds captured photos. The couple enjoyed incorporating the fall season into their wedding day as Casey adored the warm colors of November. Guests left the wedding with koozies to remember the event. After a lovely wedding day, the couple exited in style with a sparkler send off.
