Katelyn and Chad's wedding was the perfect mix of classic and rustic inspiration. They married at Sacred Heart Cathedral and then hosted their reception at Riverview Family Farms. They kept their decor simplistic with a color palette of white, navy, and mustard. The stunning cathedral featured gold details with dramatic high ceilings and wooden pews for guests to sit. Katelyn and Chad got ready at the cathedral with their wedding party capturing candid photos before the ceremony. The couple however, chose to save their first look for the grand ceremony moment itself. Katelyn wore a simplistic strapless white gown with lace detail. She paired her look with a tulle veil and natural hair and makeup. Her shoes were heels with sparkling detail and she carried a beautiful bouquet full of greenery and white florals. To complete her wedding day look, she wore teardrop  diamond earrings. Katelyn and her mother shared a heartfelt moment as she got ready for her special day with photos capturing the memory. Chad wore a navy suit with a light blue tie and leather shoes. He wore a greenery and white floral filled boutonniere. His groomsmen wore matching suits to the groom and each bridesmaid wore a full length mustard gown complimenting the bride.

The newlywed couple captured photos outside of the ceremony location as guests traveled to the barn reception venue. Katelyn and Chad then made their way to their reception to celebrate. The reception venue was decorated with classic greenery and personal details such as a memory table. Candles also were featured through the venue. A three tiered white iced cake with florals, eucalyptus and baby’s breath was provided for guests. The bride surprised Chad with a groom's cake that was an homage to his career as a doctor. It was a two tiered cake with fondant detail. Chad then sang a song for Katelyn honoring their love. After allowing time for more photography, the couple cut the cake and spent time with their friends and family. They shared their first dance inside the barn venue. Since the wedding ended when there was still sunlight outside, the couple decided to feature a unique bubble exit. The guests and vendors were delighted at the unique detail and the day ended on a fun note.
