Macey and Brandon’s story is full of joy. They met at a party at Macey’s house through a mutual friend. The pair were fast friends from their initial meeting. Brandon jokes that they have been stumbling through life together ever since he stumbled into that party. As their relationship deepened, Brandon began planning the perfect proposal story. On Easter Sunday at a family lake house in Florida, the couple watched the sunset together on a nearby dock. Brandon got down on one knee and time stood still. Macey said yes and the couple celebrated with a traditional Italian dinner paired with red wine. They knew they wanted to plan a wedding as beautiful as their story.

Bright colors, good food, and live music were the main priorities for the newly engaged couple during wedding planning. Champion Trace Golf course offered the ideal setting for their wedding as they desired an elegant yet, natural ambience. They knew they wanted each guest to feel welcome and comfortable. With an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception, the couple truly maximized their venue space to best fit their wedding. On the special day, Brandon wore a bright navy suit while Macey wore a white gown with a playful tulle skirt. Colorful florals finalized each wedding day look. A choir of volunteers provided the music for their event and more themed florals decorated the venue staying true the couple’s main desires for their day. Donuts made up the centerpieces for each guest table which doubled as favors.

The couple stresses the importance of hiring a Day of Coordinator. They enjoyed the benefit of having someone on their side to run the timeline of the day and set up all décor. After their ceremony, the couple spent the day taking photos and having fun. They featured a photo booth onsite which was a major hit among guests. A videographer also captured footage for the couple to keepsake forever. For sentimental value, old wood slices from Macey’s grandmother’s house were set on each table. She also carried handkerchiefs embroidered with personal messages. Macey and Brandon remind each couple planning a wedding to “Trust your team of vendors as they are experts in their field. Keep everything in perspective and be flexible!”
