Rustic Autumn Engagement Shoot

View More Photos

Tiffany and Brandon met on a cold night on December 14th, 2013. They met at a bonfire that her brother was having on her parent's farm. It started as fun, flirty, and friendly relationship on March 21st, 2014 but soon turned into forever. On the day Brandon was going to propose, it was their fourth anniversary, but it started like any other normal day. Brandon sent a text to Tiffany and let her know he had made reservations at a restaurant named Texas de Brazil. They ate dinner and then they headed back to Tiffany's parent's farm where it started. Brandon then gets out of the truck and headed towards a plot of land, where they planned on building their future home, and got down on one knee and proposed. Tiffany was speechless but of course, said YES! They celebrated by dancing to a few of their favorite songs and then called all their friends and family to share the good news.

Tiffany's ring is a platinum band with a 2-carat diamond, 6 prongs, and solitaire tiffany setting. The attire for the shoot was casual and dressy. The first outfit was a mustard sweater with tassels, paired with ripped jeans and short boots. She accessorized by adding a tasseled necklace to match the tassels on the sweater. Brandon's outfit was American Eagle jeans, a blue and white striped shirt and a pair of cowboy boots. For the second outfit, Tiffany went with a navy-blue maxi dress from lulus and accessorized with a gold necklace and stacked three grey and black beaded bracelets. Brandon's second outfit was khakis by Levi and a blue and white dress shirt with a grey polo sweater over it and short black boots.

Tiffany and Brandon's advice while planning an engagement shoot would be, "My first piece of advice would be to pick a well-known photographer and to pick out clothes a couple of months in advance. Next, I decided on the place I love rustic scenery, so I went with a gorgeous place not far from home. The day of the engagement shoot I was super nervous, which I know now is super fun and easy. I'd get ready early and make sure you're happy with how you both look and get ready for such a fun experience.  My photographer showed us all the poses in advance. Also showed us a couple of the pictures as she was taking them which I loved because I knew they were turning out amazing!"
