Their proposal was at the Hermitage Museum in Norfolk during a romantic picnic lunch!

David planned a picnic during one of the later days in December. As he began to unpack the basket, Jessica started to notice this was a special lunch, not like their usual picnics. After lunch was set up he finished his set up by pulling a ring out of his pocket. David ask Jessica to marry him! She opened the box upside she said “Yes!” They celebrated with a bottle of champagne that was hidden at the bottom of the picnic basket.

Jessica and David choose to have an outdoor wedding at the Norfolk Botanical Butterfly Garden, which was perfect for her bright floral dream wedding. Jessica and her mother created invitations that accented her floral theme by incorporating a variety of backgrounds. It was important for the couple to showcase the natural beauty and landscapes around them so they intentionally kept the other décor to a minimum.

Jessica has a true love for lace, it inspired her choice in the dress! David complimented her dress with his light grey seersucker suit. Her bright mixed-color bouquet matched perfectly with her lace dress. The bouquet Jessica used on her wedding day was made by David’s sister, who volunteered to help! For the centerpieces, Jessica chose to have white flowers with greenery and floral printed napkins to give it that little something extra. The couples favorite part of the wedding was walking down the aisle and saying I do while being surrounded by friends and family in such a stunningly beautiful place.

David and Jessica’s cousin are architects, so they helped out with the design and layout. David made a wooden display for the seating chart. While planning the wedding Jessica and David wanted guests to have a great time and have fun. They ensured this by splurging on a live band, open bar, and delicious desserts. Jessica and David are not big on cakes but love all other kinds of desserts. They had a small cake to cut but then filled their appetite for deserts with sea salt brownies with caramel. They also included a Tri-berry pannacotta and mini apple pies!
