Whimsical Villa Wedding

View More Photos

Ever since Brittany and Grant met each other in Jr. High they have been best friends. Eventually their friendship grew into something more. They say that they have been inseparable ever since! Their proposal is as romantic as their love story. Grant had secretly rented out an entire vineyard when he planned to propose to Brittany. All she knew was that Grant and her were going on a sunset wine tasting with the their parents. After enjoying the beautiful view and taking lot of pictures Brittany finally turned around to see Grant patiently waiting down on one knee to propose to her. The rest of her family secretly watched from the loft above.

Their wedding venue looked like a castle straight out of a fairytale. The scenery and architecture was so beautiful by itself that it only needed a few embellishments. The couple added to its natural beauty by adding some greenery, a few candlelit lanterns, and white roses to make the venue incredibly romantic. They got married under and amazing flower covered pergola that looked absolutely breathtaking with the hill country in the background.

All of this made for the perfect whimsical villa ceremony. The attire choices were just as timeless, classy, and elegant as their décor. The most unique thing about their wedding had to be the groom’s cake! It was an exact replica of Grant’s actual Yeti cooler, complete with a huge rainbow trout inside with sugar ice cubes. This fishing groom’s cake showcased the couple’s playful personality in the best way possible.

Brittany wrote a song for Grant and had it sung during their first dance. The couple describes this as one of their favorite parts of the day, other than the part when Grant accidentally packed two different colored shoes! Luckily someone was able to bring him the right one, but this doesn’t stop them from laughing about it today. The couple says that the most important part of their wedding was staying true to themselves and showing off their personality as a couple throughout their wedding day. They advise all couples to stay true to themselves despite tradition, trends, or expectations.
