Beauty and the Beast Styled Shoot

View More Photos

When I think of a wedding, I tend to think of brightly colored florals, floor length ball gowns cascading to the ground and, of course, a radiant bride with a smile that takes your breath away. Well for this designer, she saw chipped tea cups talking candlesticks and singing armoires. You guessed it! A beauty and the beast styled wedding and boy did she hit it out of the park! The designer is the wonderful Kaylee Creighton. Let us begin to reminisce over this tale as old as time…

This gorgeous wedding shoot was inspired by the classic Disney film, Beauty and the Beast, along with floor to ceiling book cases and grand stair cases. Indiana photographer Meagan Haberstroh was there to capture this glamourous event. We were obsessed with every single detail of the day! As Disney lovers, we could not get enough of all the great photos Meagan took of the bride and groom.

To achieve the full Beauty and the Beast look, every element was perfectly designed. The flowers were dark royal colors, pops of maroon and royal blue, along with some pops of gold and yellow. The floral design perfectly tied into all the old novels on the bookshelves. Keeping with minimalistic design, the cake was a simple white cake with red roses (just like the one the Beast kept!). We especially loved the beautiful mirror beside the cake that read “a tale as old as time” written on it.

The bride wore a stunning gown that Belle would have surely approved of! The ornate lace detail throughout the dress was enough to take our breath away, and some of our favorite shots of the day were from the gorgeous bride looking at herself in the mirror! The groom wore a navy suit with maroon accents to tie into the details of the day.

For the reception, Kaylee really outdid herself with the design. The tablescape was adorned with greenery running down the center of the table, cascading down the sides of the table, along with floating lights as well as red roses and beautiful candles. There were gorgeous gold pops of color on the china for the guests. However, our favorite detail of the day has to be the amazing hand-held mirror with the dinner choices written on them placed next to each plate.

We at The Bride Link love getting to see creative wedding styled shoots to get inspiration! This Beauty and the Beast shoot is so unique and we were obsessed with all the small details, from the mirrors to the adorable candlesticks. We hope you enjoyed the shoot as much as we did!
