What Flowers Are Available All Year Round

Picking the flowers for your wedding can be a fun process, but it is more than just listing off your favorite flowers and wedding colors and calling it a day. Depending on what season your wedding is, you may have to sacrifice some of your top flower choices due to their seasonality. Fortunately, there are many beautiful flowers that are available all year round, and we are going to share our favorites with you!

1. Roses: A classic as far as wedding flowers go, roses are the perfect choice for bouquets, boutonnieres, and centerpieces. There are so many different colors of roses which makes them great for any wedding. While typically roses are pretty inexpensive, the price does go up around holidays like Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day, so keep that in mind if your wedding is around those dates.

2. Baby’s Breath: Baby’s Breath is the ultimate as far as versatility goes. It is perfect for a filler or even as a full bouquet! Typically used in more rustic weddings, Baby’s Breath makes centerpieces come to life with its full spray of white flowers.

3. Calla Lillies: While they are typically white, these flowers actually come in many different colors. They are perfect for a formal wedding with their traditional style. They look great as a bunch by themselves, or combined with other flowers for a fuller bouquet. They are also great for a simple bridesmaid bouquet or in a centerpiece, adding height to the table.

4. Gerbera Daisies: With colors ranging from white to bright yellow, to burgundy, to pink, these are the perfect flower to add a pop of color. Pair them with deep colored flowers for a formal wedding, or carry a full bouquet of bright colors for a more playful feel! We love to see these bright flowers paired with black bridesmaid dresses for a real statement.

5. Amaranthus: This beautiful flower is a great accent for the bride who wants a cascading bouquet. It comes in both green and a bright burgundy color, so it can add a pop of color, or just the perfect green accent hanging off of the bouquet. These flowers look amazing in centerpieces as well, or dressing up an arbor at the ceremony. If you are looking for extra dimension in your flowers, Amaranthus is the way to go.

6. Eucalyptus: Full greenery bouquets are becoming more and more popular. Whether you want a full green or just need some extra filler and accent, Eucalyptus is the perfect option. String it across your tables and add candles for a simple and elegant centerpiece.

7. Gardenia: We love these traditional flowers. With their deep green waxy leaves and lush white petals, these flowers are elegant and beautiful. Add them to a full greenery bouquet for just the right amount of color. Gardenia is also perfect for a corsage, cake flowers, or even in a bridal up-do.
