Looking for inspiration for a beach wedding? Look no further than Christina and Jason’s Santa Rosa Beach wedding. Aislinn Kate Photography was there to capture their stunning day along the water. Christina and Jason planned a destination wedding in Seaside, Florida. The wedding was as beautiful as the couple, and not just because Christina has great taste (though clearly, she does!). It was beautiful because it was a reflection of how truly lovely and loved they are. From Christina’s best friend spending the morning making sure her hair and makeup was flawless, to her brother-in-law’s family hauling an entire DJ booth setup and running the reception, and the buckets of flowers for bouquets and décor their friends and family traveled and worked tirelessly to make their day absolutely gorgeous. There was not a dry eye on the beach during their ceremony!

Christina’s vision for their wedding was to have a classy but casual backyard beach wedding. The couple wanted to have a pretty wedding but yet have a comfortable feel for their guests. She also wanted to play off all the colors that were already prominent: sand, water, grass and sky. For their wedding flowers, Christina wanted simple and she absolutely loved all the greenery that is in style right now. The bouquets were done with a lot of greenery and white flowers, while the centerpieces were all garlands of greenery.

Christina walked down the aisle in a silhouette dress, with no beading or fuss. She wanted a timeless dress, and we are obsessed with how amazing she looked! Her dress was from Mikaella Bridal, while her bridesmaids’ donned Show Me Your Mumu ivory dresses. Jason and his groomsmen wore a two-tone sport jacked and slacks from Banana Republic, which were the perfect choices for a beach wedding!

The wedding took place at Triple Crown House, where Christina and Jason wed beside the ocean. For the ceremony, one of Jason’s groomsmen to build the wooden cross that they stood in front of during the ceremony. This was so special to the couple, as it was not just any cross but a cross that was built out of love and one that they will cherish forever.

One of our favorite things about Christina and Jason’s wedding was their desserts. The couple are big fans of oreos and cold milk, so they had plenty of oreos and milk jugs for everyone! They also had a cake that had oreo filling. Talk about delicious!

Their favorite part of the day was saying vows to each other. The ceremony was the most important element of the wedding. If nothing else worked out, if it rained, if the caterers did not show, if there was not a dance floor. Christina shared that all she wanted was to marry Jason on that day and be able to say to each other our vows that they will carry out for a lifetime.
