Best groomsmen Gift Ideas

Here are a few of our tried and true tips for choosing the best gifts for your guy squad.

Be Practical

Most groomsmen and bridesmaids  find more value in items that they can use often.  Even though it may be fun to peruse the internet for fun, novelty gift items for the guys, think about the practicality of the gifts that you're giving them.  Groomsmen gifts that are much nicer versions of their everyday items can really go a long way.  Custom shaving kits with their initials (NOT your wedding date!) will be cherished and used much more than a flask with your monogram on it.

Try to customize the gift to each individual guy.  Write down a memory with each groomsman and focus on tying that in with each individualized gift.

Set a Budget

Just like anything involving wedding planning, setting a budget is key.  If you're having an intimate affair and only have three groomsmen to buy for then you may have a larger budget per person than if you have 8 guys standing by your side. Take your overall attendant number into consideration and don't forget your ushers and ring bearers! Take the time to sit down with your fiancée and set a realistic gift budget and then search within that price range.

Think outside the box

After everything is planned and paid for then you may not have room in the budget for customized gifts and that's totally understandable!

If you’re on a seriously limited budget then focus on a great experience with the guys.  Go for a day hike, a camping trip, or just have a guy’s night out.  The most important thing to remember is you're choosing to have these guys stand beside you on one of the biggest days of your life and that's a pretty big deal.

You also might also consider paying a small amount toward the tuxedo rental or wedding day expenses for each guy.  A small gesture like that can go a long way!
