Stunning Smoky Mountain Autumn Wedding

There isn't anything quite like fall in East Tennessee and I'll venture to say you've never seen scenery more beautiful than when the green leaves begin to turn into vibrant shades of orange and gold in The Smoky Mountains.  The stunning colors are one of the many reasons that travelers flock to the Sevierville area in the Fall and we can't blame them.  Not only do they come to the area for the always charming southern hospitality and spectacular mountain views, but many couples choose to get married while they're here.

Alex and Grace traveled from Cincinnati to share their vows at The Roosevelt Lodge and chose East Tennesse Wedding Photographers, JImmy & Kim Photo, to capture their big day.   While browsing through Alex and Grace's wedding photos, we couldn't help but notice that there were so many bright smiles and tender moments captured.  The personalities of the couple and their fun bridal party shine through in this gorgeous photography.  From Grace's emotions while she reads her vows to the giddy smirk seen on both the bride and groom's faces as they hold hands around a door before the ceremony, we can tell that this couple is absolutely crazy about one another.

We've chosen our favorites below but make sure to check out the full gallery above to see this adorable Smoky Mountain Wedding.

Fall wedding in the Smokies

Sneaking out of your reception to grab a few sunset photos is always a good idea and you can't go wrong when you have amazing light such as this peeking through the Smoky Mountain Treetops!

I love the look on Alex's face in this photo! He definitely looks like a groom that is ready to get married.  While Alex and Grace spent some time together before the wedding, they didn't actually see each other.  There is an indescribable feeling during these precious moments before the ceremony and even if the couple doesn't actually look at each other, the feeling is absolutely electric. Excitement and nerves combine during these brief moments and I can't recommend a first look enough!

Grace's face in this photo says it all and the emotion captured is what it's all about. At the end of the day, when the decor is packed up and everyone is heading home, it's the moments such as these that you'll cherish the most.  Take your time, slow down, and enjoy the day spent with your family and friends.  And make sure to hire a professional photographer to capture priceless moments such as these.
