Bleak House Wedding From Leah Moyers Photography

View More Photos

Today's gorgeous wedding feature takes place at The Bleak House, an antebellum classical revival style house built in 1858 overlooking the Tennessee river along Kingston Pike.  The sweetest of details filled LeighAnne and Trevor's day as they celebrated with their closest famliy and friends.

LeighAnne and Trevor are currently studying medicine in Johnson City, but their love story began when they met as undergrad students at The University of Tennessee. And in the words of Trevor's brother, "have been Dick and Jane ever since."  Their first look was held at the UT library where they first met on campus.  They celebrated as husband and wife by dancing their first dance to “La Vie En Rose” by Louis Armstrong and their guests danced the night away in the Bleak House gardens.

Greenery filled the bouquets with small touches of white and cream peeking through in the flowers.  LB floral designed stunning greenery to adorn the aisleways and pews for the ceremony which coordinated perfectly with the lush gardens on the grounds of The Historic Bleak House. We've fallen in love with this classic and beautiful Knoxville wedding.  We've chosen our favorites below but make sure to check out the full wedding gallery above.

Bride Link Tip: Set a few full invitation suites aside for your photographer on your wedding day.  You've coordinated their style with your wedding details so make sure that they get photographed together! Leah Moyers placed this suite together on the stone that covers the Bleak House grounds and it created the perfect backdrop.

Their first look at the UT library where it all began for these two! I love how they chose a place symbolic to their relationship to have their first look.

LeighAnne's style was off the charts.  We can't get enough of her red Anthropologie shoes peeking out from her dress!

The Bleak House's stunning stone terraces that overlook the Tennessee River are swoon-worthy.

Their photographer, Leah Moyers of Leah Moyers Photography, briefly recapped their day:

"They are perfect together and I know they will have a loving and adventurous marriage."  I really enjoyed spending the day with their wedding party. LeighAnne wore an insane Sarah Seven wedding dress with red velvet shoes from Anthroplogie. Trevor had a first look with LeighAnne’s adorable niece and flower girl at the hotel and we then headed out for their first look at the UT Library where it all started. I took them around for photos on campus and in Happy Holler with the wedding party.. LeighAnne & Trevor hosted everything outdoors on a beautiful fall day. There were lawn games and cozy fires for the guests, great food and lots of dancing. I felt at home with their families and friends and am still in awe over the simple and stunning details and fall colors."

Bistro lights and yard games are the perfect way to entertain your guests
