Woodland Bridal Session

Sometimes the transition between winter and spring is such an awkward time. Everyone is ready for color and warm weather, but mother nature is not quite there yet. m.newsom photography takes this time period and shows how colorful and beautiful it can be! I am so in love with the idea of using fruit as the main color in a design, and this style shoot offers so many unique ideas for how to do so. Mini oranges were used in the boutonnières, bridal bouquet, and even on the napkin holders! From the moss covered tabletop, to the bride’s gorgeous floral crown, each element of this style shoot beautifully combines the natural colors of the wintery outdoors with the bright, cheerful colors of spring and summer.

Make sure to notice the unique felt flowers that are used on the tablescape. This felt bouquet is something I have never seen before, and can be found at The Felt Flower Shop on Etsy; and those sweet, trendy clutches by Sisters of Nature are so stylish as well! For those of you up North who feel spring may never come, enjoy this style shoot as a reminder of all the color and beauty that is about to bloom!
