Finger Wave Tutorial with Southern Belle Beauty

Finger waves are famous from the 1930’s, but they are coming back as a casual, everyday option for ladies that want a little bounce and body for their everyday wear! Southern Belle Beauty shows us all the tips for this modern, finger wave hairstyle. They even add a little make-up tip at the end for how to make your eyebrows look their best. Thank you always to Danielle Evans Photography for allowing us to use her studio in Knoxville, Tn and for taking these lovely photos!

Step 1: Apply Mouse

Apply mouse to your hair to help your curl hold and last longer.

Step 2: Curl the Hair

Separate your hair into small section. Wrap each section around the barrel of your curling iron versus clamping the hair. Once you feel the heat through the thickest part of the hair, release the curl. Hold the curl in your hand until it cools. This will help the curl hold it’s shaper while it’s cooling off.

Step 3: Brush it Out

After curling your hair, spray your brush with hairspray and brush gently through the curls. This will soften the curls and give the look a more casual feel.

Make-up Tip with Brandalyn

Brandalyn always gives us a quick tip at the end of each DIY hairstyle, and today, she tells us how to make your eyebrows look their best.

Using clear mascara, brush your eyebrows up and over.Next, dip a small make-up brush in eyeshadow that matches your eyebrow color. Fill in your eyebrows with the eyeshadow to make them fuller and more defined.T
