Silver and Gold New Years Eve Wedding Ideas

I have to admit, I am sometimes a party pooper on New Years Eve, but this stunning New Years Eve wedding style shoot by Break the Mold Photo and Custom Love Gifts, has me all excited about a New Years Eve party! As always, Lindsay, the designer and owner at Custom Love Gifts, offer fun and affordable ways to pull off an amazing event on any budget. In this style shoot, she shows us three ways to decorate a wedding reception table (or any party table for that matter,) on three different budgets. However, in my opinion, all three tablescapes look elegant and expensive, so enjoy and be inspired by the fact that class and style can be achieved with a lot of creativity and only a bit of cash.

From Lindsay…

For this inspiration shoot, I wanted to showcase the glitz and glamour of New Years Eve decorations using three different budgets- one for a high end affair, one for a mid range party, and one for a low budget gathering.   To create the feel of a lux event with or without a lush budget, the DIY New Year’s Eve décor focused on a mix of precious metal colors and a little dash of sparkly details on a black backdrop as dark as midnight.  What better view for a night on the town than the skyline of Knoxville, Tennessee as seen from the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame showcased by floor to ceiling windows.

High-End, New Years Eve Tablescape

“Break the Mold Photo caught all that shimmers and glitters in perfect light on the high end inspiration table.  Glitter-dipped glassware held glitter-filled glass globes with 2014 metallic tags and gold star name cards.  Gail’s Custom Cakes created a champagne flute version of their adorable Cake Cocktails with a splash of edible glitter to match the table design details.  The lush floral centerpiece from Melissa Timm Designs floated atop a glass showcase vase filled with precious metal colored ornaments that made the perfect focal point for a glamorous end of the year soirée.”

These glitter martini glasses are super easy to make! Check out the tutorial HERE. These exact glasses may be purchased for decorating HERE.

Mid-Priced, New Years Eve Tablescape

“To stay on budget for the mid priced table scape, rental items were used in place of a floral centerpiece. This recreation of the ball drop in Times Square was designed with a mirror ball rental from Campbell Tent Rental and a glass vase, flanked by small floral arrangements from Melissa Timm Designs.  Sequins-topped, wine-infused pancake syrup favors make the perfect partner to metallic, paint-dipped champagne flutes.  Each place setting included a mini martini cupcake dessert, known as Cake Cocktails, from Gail’s Custom Cakes. “

DIY, Budget-Frientdly New Years Eve Tablescape

White Table provided New Years Eve inspired linens with gold on black details. Wine bottles were spray-painted gold to match and held a mini New Years Eve garland in silver glitter with gold tinsel.  DIY party hats and matching blowers were created with “Auld Lang Sine” sheet music and gold tinsel garland details.  Dark chocolate trufflles in metallic mini muffin cups held name cards beside homemade wine-infused jam favors by Custom Love Gifts.

“Whether you are on a budget of dollars or diamonds, the perfect New Years Eve party décor is within your reach, just add glitter!”
