Five Popular Spring Flowers

View More Photos

If you are having a spring wedding, there are some absolutely gorgeous flowers for you to choose from!

Below are my top five flower options that are in season during spring. Remember, choosing flowers that are in season during your wedding is the number one way to cut costs.

Peonies

Peonies are simply gorgeous! They come in pinks, white, burgundy, and yellows. Although they look lovely in a bouquet by themselves, they are beautiful to add to other spring flowers to create a full, round look.

Because they are so large, I have even seen bridesmaids carry single peonies!

Tulips

Tulips can create a modern, elegant feel, or a country, rustic feel. They tend to adapt to the style of the wedding.

Tulips come in white, pink, red, yellow, and purple. Their long elegant stems make them perfect to fill rooms with large ceilings.

Anemonies

Anemones come in shades of blue, purple, pink, red, and white. Since they are more expensive, they may be paired with another spring flower such as ranunculus to cut costs.

Calla Lillies

Calla Lillies are always in season, and they come in a wide variety of colors including white, pink, red, green, and dark purple. They are more expensive than other spring flowers so consider pairing them with cheaper flowers like roses to cut costs.
