Bridal Fashion Shoot with Danielle Evans Photography
I am so excited to share this bridal fashion shoot today I designed with Danielle Evans Photography and Megan Connors Floral and Styling! I have always wanted to do a photo shoot that is completely focused on bridal fashion. Sometimes, photo shoots become so involved with tablescapes and other design elements, that the bride’s fashion becomes lost in the mix. This shoot is completely dedicated to capturing stunning make-up, hair, bridal accessories, florals, and of course two lovely gowns.
I envisioned this shoot being soft and elegant using shades of dusty blue and peach. I searched for days for the perfect backdrop and finally found this soft, dusty blue wall located in a vacant, early 20th century home in Knoxville. The old, wooden floors and light blue wall could not have been more perfect!
Floral designer, Megan Connors, brought the perfect mix of soft peach and lavender to the shoot through a stunning, cascading bouquet. The model’s hair was kept simple by stylist, Kristen Danielle Davenport, as to not distract from the neutral yet glamorous make-up by FACE by Raymie.
It was an honor to feature hair accessories from one of my favorite Etsy artists, Gilded Shadows. Her products are absolutely breathtaking! I chose a gold-leafed headband and pearl-studded hair comb for this shoot that was perfectly feminine. Make sure to swoon over all of her products in her Etsy shop!
We also featured two of my favorite wedding dresses. One is the Onyx gown from BHLDN that has a sheer lace backing that still makes my jaw drop! The other gown is Jenny Yoo’s Convertible Annabelle wedding dress. This gown can be worn in a variety of ways, perfect for the bride who wants to wear one gown but mix up her look from the ceremony to the reception.
